# Booking.com ASO audit worksheet

Use alongside https://www.asoagency.com/briefs/booking-com. Published copy proposals are hypotheses, not tested outcomes.

## Define your scope

- App and listing URL:
- Store, territory, language and device:
- Observation date and reviewer:
- Visitor intent and source:

## Your ASO assignment

1. Separate your travel app’s search, comparison and booking jobs.
2. Write a headline naming one visible comparison aid and change only that headline in the test brief.
3. Code property feedback separately from app and reservation-service feedback.

## Keep evidence separate from judgment

For each of your first three screenshots record: source URL, capture date, visible content, interpretation and proposed action. Identify the material that must remain unchanged.

## Review the proposed copy

Name: Booking.com: Hotels & Travel
Subtitle: Find stays. Plan your trip.

Reasoning: Keep the descriptive name and try a task-led subtitle connecting accommodation search to trip planning. The concept is clarity of journey, not adding an unverified discount promise.

Tradeoff: This removes explicit flights and car rentals from the subtitle. Those terms may matter to qualified visitors, so the proposal needs acquisition and query evidence before replacing the existing service list.

## Handover

Include the original listing snapshot, source links, dated review sample and selection method, competitor observations, copy decisions, approved creative, test brief and remaining evidence gaps.

## Evidence still needed in this audit

- Current booking flow and mobile-offer conditions.
- Qualified accommodation query demand and visitor intent mix.
- Actual conversion baseline and a broader, coded review sample.
