# Evernote ASO audit worksheet

Use alongside https://www.asoagency.com/briefs/evernote. Published copy proposals are hypotheses, not tested outcomes.

## Define your scope

- App and listing URL:
- Store, territory, language and device:
- Observation date and reviewer:
- Visitor intent and source:

## Your ASO assignment

1. Record a current capture, search and task-linking journey using one note.
2. Brief a first-frame explanation that preserves connected artwork.
3. Separate what the title promises about AI from what the three screenshots actually demonstrate.

## Keep evidence separate from judgment

For each of your first three screenshots record: source URL, capture date, visible content, interpretation and proposed action. Identify the material that must remain unchanged.

## Review the proposed copy

Name: Evernote: Notes & Notebook
Subtitle: Capture ideas. Organize tasks.

Reasoning: Describe the demonstrated core activities and retain the notebook category. The alternative intentionally centres the visible organisation story rather than an AI capability not shown in this sample.

Tradeoff: Removing AI from the title may lose a strategically important audience, while notebook and notes overlap. The change needs actual query and product-positioning evidence, not just a preference for simpler copy.

## Handover

Include the original listing snapshot, source links, dated review sample and selection method, competitor observations, copy decisions, approved creative, test brief and remaining evidence gaps.

## Evidence still needed in this audit

- Current capture, save-state, retrieval and planning workflows.
- Plan access and a verified AI input-to-output example.
- Conversion baseline and query-intent research.
