# Todoist ASO audit worksheet

Use alongside https://www.asoagency.com/briefs/todoist. Published copy proposals are hypotheses, not tested outcomes.

## Define your scope

- App and listing URL:
- Store, territory, language and device:
- Observation date and reviewer:
- Visitor intent and source:

## Your ASO assignment

1. Pick one clever feature that a new user may not understand.
2. Draw its input and output using one realistic example.
3. Ask someone unfamiliar with the app to explain the screenshot before writing more copy.

## Keep evidence separate from judgment

For each of your first three screenshots record: source URL, capture date, visible content, interpretation and proposed action. Identify the material that must remain unchanged.

## Review the proposed copy

Name: Todoist: To Do List & Calendar
Subtitle: Capture tasks. Plan your day.

Reasoning: The candidate retains the specific category name while changing the subtitle from feature nouns to a simple sequence of jobs.

Tradeoff: It removes the explicit reminders term. Review search evidence and the private keyword field before adopting it; do not assume the more natural sentence will rank better.

## Handover

## Evidence still needed in this audit

- Current capture and calendar entitlement documentation.
- Keyword-field and acquisition evidence before changing the subtitle.
- New-user comprehension observations.
