ASO Training for Teams: Learn on Your Own Listing
Discuss a practical training scope built around your team’s app, current questions and ability to keep improving after the engagement.
When this is useful
Your team needs a shared method for deciding, implementing and evaluating listing changes. Training should leave usable artifacts and clear ownership rather than only a presentation.
How the work is structured
1. Identify learning needs
Review roles, experience and the decisions your team currently struggles with. Choose a defined app/market example and agree the learning objectives.
2. Work through the artifacts
Use a listing audit, keyword map, metadata draft and experiment brief to connect concepts with decisions. The free course can provide preparation material.
3. Agree the handover
Clarify what the team will own, what remains to research and how future changes will be reviewed. Any follow-up coaching is agreed explicitly.
What to bring
- Team roles and current ASO responsibilities
- An app or anonymized example to work through
- Desired learning outcomes and availability
What the scope can include
- An agreed agenda and learning objectives
- Practical exercises using a defined listing
- Reusable checklists and decision templates
- A list of next actions owned by the team
Example of the work
Illustrative exercise: each participant classifies an audit finding as evidence, hypothesis or unknown, then assigns an owner and validation step. The output is a usable backlog.
This is an illustrative deliverable, not a claimed client result. For a public example of the reasoning, read the outside-in Calm brief, which does not use private client data.
Scope and limitations
Format, timing, group size and pricing are agreed after discussing your needs. This is an inquiry for tailored training, not a scheduled class or an accredited certification.
Cost and timing
Share the app, market and decision you need help with. The deliverables, responsibilities, fee and schedule are agreed before work begins. If a different type of support is more appropriate, that should be clear during scoping.
Common questions
Will I need to provide console access?
Public listing work can start with a URL. Performance diagnosis needs relevant first-party evidence. Agree the minimum access or exports during scoping; missing data is recorded as a limitation.
Are implementation and ongoing support included?
Only when included in the agreed scope. Confirm who approves and publishes changes, which assets will be produced, and whether follow-up analysis is part of the engagement.
